Delivery Information

Delivery is by Royal Mail 1st Class, 2nd Class, 1st Class Recorded Delivery, Next Day, Saturday Next Day, Airmail or International signed for.

All delivery prices are shown in full before purchase.

1st Class takes 1-3 working days

2nd Class takes 2-5 working days

Recorded 1st Class takes 1-5 working days and can be tracked

Airmail takes 7-10+ working days excluding the day of shipping and weekends. May be subject to customs inspection, is not trackable and can be delayed further by your own postal system.

International Signed For takes 5 - 10+ working days and can be tracked, excluding the day of shipping and weekends. May be subject to customs inspection and can be delayed by your own postal system.

The delivery times stated are estimated and delays can occur. 

 

Important information regarding delivery

Note that Royal Mail does NOT guarantee next day delivery on Saturday even with the Saturday guaranteed service. So any item order on a Friday may not arrive. This is at the discretion of Royal Mail and out of our hands.

NEXT DAY DELIVERY IS NOT A PRIORITY SERVICE. ALL orders are shipped in order received regardless of the shipping option chosen. Therefore if your order is not reached either by the cut off point stated on the website 12noon or due to demand then it will not ship until processed the following day.

If you require an item next day for Saturday then you must select Saturday Next Day Delivery. Any orders placed AFTER 12noon Thursday or at ANY TIME Friday with standard next day delivery will not be processed and shipped until the following Monday. Without the Saturday guarantee then it is at Royal Mail's discretion to deliver or not on Saturday. As such items such as henna cones, henna paste or any order including this type of product will not be shipped as it will affect the quality of the product.

Next Day, Saturday Next Day and Recorded/Signed for services all require a signature and cannot be left in a safe place without a signature.

Every customer is required to inquire with their postal service if they do not receive their order within a reasonable time and have been informed by Henna Boy Ltd that it has been dispatched. It is not the responsibility of Henna Boy Ltd to enquire on your behalf nor are we able to do so.

Airmail is NOT a trackable service. Overseas customers who chose this method do so at their OWN RISK. It will be up to the customer to seek where the package dispatched is with their postal system we are unable to provide details to who they should contact.

Airmail is a slower international service and can take anywhere from 7-10+ working days which excludes the day of shipping and weekends.

International Signed For. This is a priority tracked service which also comes with limited insurance for lost/damaged items. The insurance covers the sender only not the receiver and any damages or loss should be reported upon receipt of the package with photographic evidence. We will not accept any claim without photo proof.

International Signed For takes between 5 and 10 working days.

Customs delays and lost packages

We cannot be held liable for your package being held by your customs officers. This is entirely out of our hands and we have no way to contact customs in any country.

Lost packages. Royal Mail has a policy of 15 days before they will begin an investigation into missing items. Unless you selected a tracked service such as Recorded Delivery, Next Day Delivery, Saturday Next Day Delivery, International Signed for we are unable to provide ANY tracking information nor are we able to provide individual receipts for postage.

We are unable to process refunds or replacement orders until Royal Mail has notified us of loss which takes up to 5 days after the 15 days has elapsed and Royal Mail notified of the loss.*

*We may decide to process replacements or refunds earlier and will treat each case individually.

Incorrect Shipping Address

If you have inputted or selected an incorrect shipping address then NO refund and/or replacement will be dispatched UNLESS the original items are returned or a replacement ordered. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the shipping address is correct.

Henna Boy Ltd operates a Brother labeling system which automatically prints the label from the inputted shipping details. NO address is manually inputted.

If you need to change your address on the system you will need to add a new address first and then make this the default address before you can delete an old address.

There is plenty of opportunities to double and triple check the address before making payment.

Contacting Henna Boy Ltd AFTER an order has been shipped stating the address is incorrect is the customer's liability and Henna Boy Ltd is not liable for you not receiving the goods.

VAT on postage within the UK and EEC

We are required under the UK and EEC VAT laws to add VAT to postage costs. For further information on this should you feel it is incorrect for Henna Boy Ltd to add VAT on postage please refer to the HMRC website which explains the way this has to be calculated.
